It’s all down to your daily habits and the way you repeatedly show up (or don’t)! 

Implementing these daily habits of feminine women will not only elevate your mood but will also help you live your dream life. 

Morning routine and feminine habits

What are Daily Habits?

Habits are ‘mini tasks’ you do each day on autopilot. You don’t spend time thinking about them or debating whether you’re going to do them.   You just get on with it.

 

The elegant and feminine woman has specifically developed certain daily habits to not only allow herself to move through her day with ease and grace, but to design a life she loves. 

Her elegant and feminine daily habits have elevated her lifestyle. 

 

Make the decision to start 

Becoming the elegant and feminine goddess you desire to be doesn’t happen over night – although deciding to become her does! 

To effortlessly show up as her will take time and practice.  But trust me, it will be soo worth it! 

If you are serious about wanting to make a change or perhaps completely reinvent yourself, implementing small, daily habits will improve your chances of becoming the best version of yourself.

Daily Habits of Feminine Women

Include these daily habits into your life to become more elegant and feminine. 

 

1. Create an elegant morning and evening routine

Take time to properly wake up and prepare for your day ahead.  Similarly, take time to relax and unwind before bed. 

 

My full evening routine takes me at least an hour to complete, but I love every part to it.  Even if I only loosely follow it, I always wake up feeling refreshed, positive and motivated for the day ahead. 

 

If you’re not sure where to start, you can take some inspiration from my routine. 

 

The bottom line is to implement 2-3 ‘mini tasks’ that would make your morning all the more luxurious and set you up for a successful day, or allow you to relax in the evening ready and have your best night’s sleep.

2. Wake up early

Elegant and feminine women aren’t lazy.  They wake up early with intention and motivation to start their day. 

 

To seize the day, like any feminine woman would, plan out your day the night before so you can wake up knowing exactly what needs to be done and what appointments you have.

 

By knowing what to expect as soon as you wake up, you’ll be able to effortlessly go about your day. 

 

If you’re currently not an early riser, or if you feel like you could benefit from waking up a bit earlier, try gradually setting your alarm 15-30 minutes earlier each night until you’re at the desired time you wish to wake up. 

 

With that being said, elegant and feminine women don’t wake up at 5am just to brag about the fact they woke up at 5am. If this doesn’t work for you and your lifestyle, it’ll only leave you feeling tired and grumpy and that is definitely not the definition of being elegant and feminine!

 

I naturally wake up around 6:30am and this suits me perfectly as it allows me to have a leisurely breakfast, journal and get ready for the day ahead – all before 8am!

3. Make your bed every morning

I’d challenge anyone who doesn’t feel better once their bed is made.  

 

There’s just something about having all the pillows in their neat rows rather than thrown across the floor, that makes me just feel so accomplished.

4. Daily gratitude

Whether you continue with your journey to become an elegant and feminine woman or not, practicing daily gratitude should always be part of your daily habits. 

 

A feminine woman doesn’t take anything in her life for granted.  She embraces everything she has and finds happiness and love in every part of her life. 

 

5. Plan out your day

As I touched on before, a feminine woman has a good idea as to what she is doing each day and what might unexpectedly come up. 

 

There’s no need to plan out your day to the hour or half hour, (although I do) but just so you know what appointments and plans you have. 

 

There’s so many different diaries to choose from but these planner inserts are my current favourite.

6. Skincare routine

A daily habit of feminine women is their skincare routines as they know this is the best form of self-care and is the basis for how great they look. 

 

Looking radiant and glowing starts from within, but a solid skincare routine can definitely give you a helping hand.

 

If you don’t currently have a skincare routine or not one that is suited to your own needs, this should definitely be on your priority list to sort out ASAP! 

 

There are so many brands out there and products for all types of skin types and concerns that I’d recommend doing some research or seeing a dermatologist for a professional opinion.  My favourite products and basic skincare routine is cleanser, toner, moisturiser and eye cream.

7. Personal development

Elegant and feminine women know that to truly create and live their dream life, personal development needs to be a part of their daily routine. 

 

By spending just 15-30 minutes per day working on yourself and any limiting beliefs you may have can make all the difference from dreaming about your perfect life, to actually living it.

 

You can practice personal development from audiobooks, podcasts, documentaries or just good old fashioned hardback books!

8. Move your body daily

Notice I didn’t say exercise?! Unless an intense workout is what you fancy, there’s no need to be extra or force yourself to do something you hate for 45 minutes a day (let’s face it, most of us are already spending 40+ weeks at a job we don’t like so there’s no point adding to it!)

 

It’s better to do 20-30 minutes each day of something you love than to force yourself to do a 45 minute workout which you hate 3-5 times a week. 

 

In any event, as an elegant and feminine woman, you really don’t have that kind of time to waste on activities you absolutely loathe. So find something you love and try that out.  You can always do something different each day until you find something you like.   My favourites are pilates, yoga and walking. 

 

9. Work towards your goals

A core habit of feminine women is that they spend time each day working towards their goals.

 

Even if you only have half an hour after work, don’t neglect your own dreams and aspirations at the cost of working your entire life for someone else’s!

10. Eat healthy and drink enough water

This is easily the hardest habit to develop and stick to long term.  However, feminine and elegant women make it a daily habit to drink lots of water, eat healthily and listen to what their body needs.

 

I’ll say it again for the women at the back.  

 

Elegant and feminine women do not obsess over weighing, counting, point tracking, synn-ing or any other voodoo from fad diets! 

 

It wasn’t until I developed this habit from the view of a slim and feminine woman, that I actually started losing weight! 

 

Think about it, a daily habit of a feminine woman is not to stop by maccies, KFC, the local fish & chip shop or *insert take out of choice*.  Instead they eat fresh and organic meals that will nourish them.

 

Feminine women listen to their bodies, eat when they’re hungry and stop when they’re satisfied.

 

11. Feminine beauty habits

Elegant and feminine women take care of their appearance and take their beauty routines seriously.  They know that keeping up their appearance makes them feel good.  Whether it’s part of a self-care routine or a weekly habit, hair masks, face masks and manicures are essential. 

 

12. Practice work / life balance

The elegant women doesn’t slave away at work unnecessarily. Of course, there are occasions when you will need to stay behind to complete everything but this shouldn’t be a regular occurrence and certainly not until 11pm as some women do!

13. Clean up

A feminine woman doesn’t have an untidy or unclean home. Your home should always feel inviting and welcoming even if it’s only to you.

 

If you’re like me, and hate the thought of spending a whole Saturday cleaning, set yourself a 20 minute timer each day, leave your phone behind and clean as much as you can until the timer goes off. You’ll be amazed at what you can do in what seems like such a short space of time. 

 

14. Spend time with loved ones

A feminine woman makes it a habit to support and be there for her friends and family, as this is essentially in her nature as being a caregiver.  Also, spending time with your loved ones naturally brings out your softer, feminine side.

15. Practice or take up a new hobby 

Another habit feminine women make time to do is to practice their hobbies and take up new ones, rather than mindlessly watching TV every night. 

 

The best feminine hobbies allow you to explore your creative side. For example, flower arranging, baking, cooking or gardening.
