5 Planner Printables You Need for Ultimate Productivity …

…  Then follow these 5 steps to become more productive everyday!

The definition of productivity is the rate at which a person does useful work.  This work is then measured based on the results produced.

Therefore productivity and busyness are not the same thing.

Being productive allows you to complete and accomplish more each day bringing you closer to your goals, faster.  Or simply to just get things done!

However so much in our day to day life can get in the way and prevent us from being as productive as we would like. So…

How to set up your planner for ultimate productivity? Focus on planning your day around your week and your week around your month.

Do planners increase productivity?

Yes, in its very name it means to plan.  What you plan will inevitably be accounted for and then achieved.

If you leave your day, week or month up to chance, or even worse, your memory, you’re likely to just end up disappointed.

If productivity means to produce results, and lots of them, having a planner filled with everything you need to get done and be aware of for the month, week or day is just half of it. You need to actually use your planner and look through everything everyday or if not, at least once a week!

How to set up a planner for productivity?

To set yourself up for ultimate productivity, here’s a list of the top 5 planner inserts you’ll need to succeed.

Birthday and Important Dates

Keep a running list of birthdays and other important dates so that you know each month what is coming up and what you will need to plan or take into account that month.

I buy all the birthday and anniversary cards in one go at the beginning of the month so when the event rolls around I’m already planned and prepared and I’m not wasting time at the last minute trying to find a card and post it before it’s late.

Meal planning and recipes

In a similar way, having a running list of past meal plans and recipes you love that you can fall back on will free up time each week when planning what to cook and what groceries you’ll then need.

Being productive is about creating the results in the shortest time possible.  If you save time each week by already knowing what you’ll cook and what ingredients are needed for each meal, you’ve probably already saved yourself a few hours in the week!

Inbox / Notes

Instead of trying to remember everything have a dedicated space where you write down all of your notes or things to come back to for the day.

This will also improve your productivity as you can add a note to your inbox planner page, without having to multi-task to get several things done at once.

This planner insert can be either a dedicated inbox planner dashboard, a list of to-dos to come back to or a blank page.

Goal section

A goal section is only part of the process in becoming productive and following through to accomplish your goals.

If you can see a clear outline of all the goals you want to achieve, you can then visualise what steps you need to take to achieve them.

There’s so many goal planner bundles available so it depends on how detailed you’d like to go to plan out your goals with separate headings and pages or if you prefer some guidance when taking an idea and putting your goal on paper.

Monthly, weekly and daily planner inserts

To be the most productive version of yourself and achieve everything on your to-do list you need to have your month flow into your week which flows into your day.

These different inserts will allow you to plan your time effectively and see where you have gaps in your week and day to get things done.

I strongly recommend these daily planner inserts that are split into half hour sections.  At the start of the day I block out time for work, my morning and evening routines, any workouts I want to do and even meal times.  The time that’s left is spare and so I can add in time slots to complete the other items on my to-do list.

How to use your productive planner?

  1. Review all parts of your planner i.e. birthdays, important dates etc and add these to your monthly inserts
  2. Review goals and what needs to be done that month.
  3. Break down your monthly goal and anything else that needs doing into a weekly goal
  4. Break down your weekly goal or anything that needs doing to a daily goal
  5. Rinse and repeat to achieve all your goals and complete all your tasks – you’ll be super productive then!

So now you have the 5 essential planner printables and know how to set your planner up for productivity, all that’s left is you put the above into practice each day and be proud of how much you’re now accomplishing each day!
